Johnny Collins (1938–2009) was an internationally acclaimed English singer specializing in shanties, sea songs, and maritime ballads. Born in Norfolk and later based in London, he was known for his vigorous style and ability to get audiences singing along on the choruses.

Collins performed at major maritime venues worldwide, including the Maine Maritime Museum, Mystic Seaport, the Kendall Whaling Museum, and Expo ‘88 in Brisbane, Australia. He frequently collaborated with Jim Mageean, with whom he sang from 1975 until his death. Their partnership was chronicled in the album Coming of Age, featuring tracks from 21 years of performances at the Liereliet Festival in Workum, Netherlands.

His final recording was Good Times with Jim Mageean and Graeme Knights.
