Seán Dagher is a folk singer and multi-instrumentalist from Montreal. He sings shanties, Celtic, French, medieval, and Middle Eastern folk songs, and plays Irish bouzouki, mandolin, banjo, oud, and shruti box.

Dagher is widely known for his work on the Assassin’s Creed video game series, beginning with Black Flag, where he both researched and performed the sea shanties. He is the artistic director and principal arranger of Skye Consort, and serves on the artistic committee of La Nef. He has won multiple OPUS awards and has provided arrangements for ensembles including the Montreal Symphony Orchestra. His Shanty of the Week series offers informative explorations of traditional songs.
