Det Hände Sig I Göteborg (It Happened In Gothenburg)

The name of the ship in the song is the same as in Skeppet Bernadotte. Apparently it was a popular name among Scandinavian shipowners. Stan Hugill notes that the song was found aboard Swedish ships around 1870.
