Passant Par Paris (Passing Through Paris)

Like most of Hugill's french shanties, this comes from Capt. Hayet's collection Chanson de bord (Paris, 1927). Hugill's translation "has been toned down a little". The translation seems to follow pretty faithfully so maybe it is the transcription itself which is toned down.

Also like most french shanties, the chorus is formed by repeating the first solo and then using the second solo as the first solo of the following verse.
